Bernard J. Zovighian, age 56, is Chief Executive Officer of Edwards Lifesciences, and became a
director of the Company in 2023. Prior to becoming CEO in 2023, Mr. Zovighian served as
President. He joined Edwards Lifesciences in January 2015 as Vice President and General
Manager of the Surgical Structural Heart business. He later served as Corporate Vice President of the surgical business from 2016 until January 2018, when he became Corporate Vice President responsible for the company's Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business. In his nearly 30-year career in medical technology, Mr. Zovighian spent 13 years leading global businesses across two world-class companies. Before joining Edwards, Mr. Zovighian held roles with increasing levels of responsibility at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) for nearly 20 years, including regional leadership outside of the United States and worldwide president of one of the company's divisions. He has dual master's degrees in science and business from Universities of Marseille, France.
