Ramona Sequeira, age 58, has been a director of the Company since 2020. Ms. Sequeira is
currently the President, Global Portfolio Division of Takeda Pharmaceuticals Company USA,
Inc. Ms. Sequeira was formerly the President of the US Business Unit and Global Portfolio
Commercialization and the chair of the Commercialization and Launch Committee of Takeda
Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. She has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
through her work with Takeda and, prior to that, in various positions with Eli Lilly & Company,
including as Vice President - Lilly USA. She has successfully led growing businesses in Canada,
Europe and the U.S. and has extensive experience in leadership roles in multiple markets, across cultures and within different healthcare systems where she has successfully launched products, transformed businesses, and delivered sustainable growth. Ms. Sequeira participates in leadership forums to share her views on the role of trust and reputation in long-term company success and has led numerous executive development programs. Ms. Sequeira previously served as the chair of the board of Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), which represents the country's leading innovative biopharmaceutical research companies, and had also served on the board of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry. Additionally, Ms. Sequeira is a member of the board of trustees for Harvey Mudd College. Ms. Sequeira received her bachelor's degree in Molecular Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto and earned her MBA from McMaster University.
